Dr Angela Schuurmans
DentistHaving graduated from Adelaide University in 1995,
Dr Schuurmans went on to gain Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2000. With a keen interest in surgery, she has worked in maxillofacial units in the UK and tutored in the Oral Surgery Department of the Adelaide Dental Hospital.
Dr Schuurmans became involved in implants in 2005
and more recently, undertook the gIDE/UCLA Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry. At a gIDE global meeting in Los Angeles, Dr Schuurmans was invited to present to clinicians and specialists from Europe, China and North America.
The daughter of Practice Founder, Dr Karl Skopal,
Dr Schuurmans has worked at Ingle Farm for more than 20 years and continues to promote Dr Skopal's philosophy of open trust, personal service and high skill.
Dr Schuurmans consults on Mondays & Tuesdays.
Dr Schuurmans is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Adelaide Seattle Study Club, the Australian Osseointegration Society and regularly participates in implant study groups around Adelaide. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency.
Dr Schuurmans is also the mother of three very active teenagers and married to one incredibly supportive husband!
